Its been many years since my wedding and I can’t believe how much everything has changed for the better, including the decorations. It’s amazing what is out there and the variety you can choose from. Beach party weddings can be one of the most fantastic ceremonies with seashells and starfish to help decorate with. There were also some pretty clever ideas for garden and other summer and spring weddings and receptions. You could get beautiful new wedding accessories for all 4 seasons. There are winter season decorations and all their accessories with the glitter and gold that will definitely be a beautiful addition to your themed decor. I actually heard that some brides and grooms have an outside winter wedding. That sounds beautiful, but it seems just a little too modern, and too cold for my taste. I think I would be just fine with an indoor winter wedding and reception. Maybe a ski resort would be a good place for a winter wedding, with all the fireplaces and cozy winter atmosphere.

An autumn wedding is so gorgeous and one of my favorite seasons, and has lot to offer in wedding accessories and reception supplies. An autumn wedding would be so beautiful because of the beautiful scenery with the colors changing and awesome fall scents in the air. My wedding day was so long ago that the choices we had were being married in the church or running away and getting married. I’ve heard of weddings where the location is out of state or even the country and all the friends and famliy fly to that location to have the wedding ceremony. Everybody probably feels like they’re eploping too. There are also a great new favor selection, from everything from traditional to destination weddings that you can buy for your reception.

My daughter is getting married in two months and I’m helping her to plan the whole thing and she has decided to have a country western ceremony and reception. I would of never guessed that a country western wedding would be so great until I helped my daughter plan hers. She found cake toppers that have a western theme to them, plus everything she needed for her bridal table, including western champagne flutes. They looked stylished and fashionable. She hired a country band and placed grills and hay around for the party setting. For the reception, she is going to put lights and lanterns all over. Also she purchased centerpieces and name card holders that are western style. To my surprise they planned to rent a western ranch for the wedding. She purchased many wedding and reception embellishments on the internet and they went with the country western style. She bought bride and groom cowboy hats there for her and her fiance and the cutest little new favors for each of their guests.

It’s looks like when this is finished being planned, that it will be a big family barbecue with dear friends. Which when I think of it, sounds like a pretty good time for all. I was surprised to hear that they are going to have a barn dance in a good ole country western style. Now that I knew what to expect I decided to get all the western gear, like blue jeans, cowboy boots, and cowboy hats so I can participate in all the fun. Everybody will always remember this wedding. With our anniversary coming up soon, I may take my daughters idea and have a country western renewal ceremony and reception.

It was a lot easier than I thought it would be to plan my outside wedding and reception. In fact, it didn’t cost as much as an indoor wedding would have cost us. Since we had the beauty of nature all around us, it wasn’t too expensive to decorate. I checked out a lot of places to have our summer wedding and reception. I could have had our wedding ceremony on the beach, with a fun filled beach party reception, or an elegant garden party, but I chose a ceremony and reception in the park. I was surprised at all the parks available for weddings.

I decided to go online and get some expert advice on how to plan the perfect outdoor wedding. When you plan to be married in the great outdoors, it seems you have to have a backup plan just in case the weather turns from sunny to pouring buckets. A tent was suggested just in case the weather turns out badly.

In our original wedding preparations, we had a lovely canopy set up for the reception and a lovely trellis for our ceremony. I only had to get decorations for my bridal table and the reception tables for our friends and family. About all I needed were a extra flowers and my table settings, thanks to the already present beauty of the park. By using artificial flowers I thought we may be able to avoid any univited guests, like bees. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and didn’t look artificial at all. The wedding was easier than I originally thought it would be, but there were a lot of things to consider. You want to make sure you have plenty of citronella candles scattered about, and that the rest rooms are within walking distance, and make sure your frosting on your cake doesn’t melt in the heat.

There was a variety of accessories available for the outdoor reception. Each of our guest had a park bench place card holder and the centerpieces were flowers arranged around a glass globe with citronella votive candles inside. I found very decorative favor boxes and used them to package the chrome bottle openers we bought for our friends and family as a summer wedding favor. The most beautiful part of our wedding table was our cake with it’s gorgeous wedding cake topper.

I found it while browsing online for my other wedding accessories, and fell in love with it. They were customized toppers for the wedding couple. They put our faces on our cake topper, and all I had to do was send them a photo of me and my fiance. Talk about the best wedding keepsake you can get. Our friends and family were really loved the cake topper and gave us a lot of compliments on it. Our crystal champagne flutes and silver cake serving set was just a few of the fantastic accessories I ordered for our ceremony and reception. It’s unbelievable all the lovely accessories you can purchase from you computer.

Well, the wedding was beautiful and the reception was just as perfect. Plan B never had to be used, since the weather was so beautiful, and thankfully it remained that way through the whole evening. We all loved the super DJ and the fantastic job he was doing, and if I’m right, he probably kept the music and dancing going on for quite a while after we left to go on our honeymoon. Everyone commented on what a lovely ceremony and super reception we had. I couldn’t have picked a better place than the park for our wedding ceremony and reception party. If we celebrate one of our anniversaries with a wedding renewal, I want to have it in a gorgeous park again.

It took me a while before I could decide on a theme for our ceremony and reception party. I wasn’t sure if I wanted a beach wedding, a garden wedding or a country western wedding. Then I thought maybe I should just stick with the traditional type of ceremony and reception. Then I found out about destination weddings and that one got me thinking. I thought about the tropical shores of Hawaii or the excitement of Vegas might be a great idea. I would probably go for the Hawaii destination. But then I thought about all the people that would be disappointed that they couldn’t be there, and I had to toss that idea in the dumpster.
There were other ideas too, like a gorgeous winter theme ceremony. But since we were getting married in the summer months, I didn’t think I should go with a snow scene. I wanted a wedding fit for a king and queen, and what better way to do that then with a storybook wedding. There were plenty of fairy tale accessories and ideas to work with for the perfect story book wedding. There were even special wedding cakes you could buy that fit in perfectly with the theme. So my decision was made. We can declare a royal wedding.
Through online shopping I found lovely story book invitations. There were also plenty of accessories and supplies to pick out for my storybook wedding. I picked out floor length dresses for the girls in my wedding party, and found an exquisite gown for myself. All of the groomsmen and the ring boy looked so handsome in their tuxes, but the best looking one of all, was my regal prince. As I made my way down the aisle to my handsome prince Charming I felt like I was living a dream. Our wedding ceremony was more beautiful than I could have hoped for. The accessories I bought added so much glamour and style to our storybook wedding. As we were leaving the church, everyone tossed rose petals and cheered us on. We were driven to the reception in a horse drawn carriage, just like royalty.
Our reception was a total success, with all the storybook accessories, it looked like the inside of a castle. I found everything to fit the ocassion from decorations to wedding favors. I even found adorable boxes for each and every unique wedding favor. There were so many accessories to choose from to help with our storybook reception. I bought little coaches that made perfect place card holders, and exquisite champagne flutes with a storybook design. I couldn’t have pulled this off without the wonderful accessories they have for fairytale weddings.
Everyone had a fabulous time and I received a lot of compliments on the décor. One of our guests stated that she’d never seen such a gorgeous ceremony as ours. I have to admit, it was quite special. I think I made the right choice when I chose this theme, and I’m glad I could find so many great accessories to help. I wanted this to be special for our friends and family too, the way it was for us. Everything from our wedding cake topper to the wedding party favors for our friends and family went with our storybook theme. I felt that a momento of this special day would mean more than any other gift I could give them. I wanted to give them something they would look back on with fond memories.
As soon as we returned from our honeymoon, I got started on all the thank you notes I needed to mail out. Believe it or not, I was able to get thank you notes with a fairytale theme. Maybe on our 20th anniversary we can do this again.

Outside we climbed into a gorgeous horse drawn carriage to take us to the reception hall.
A real castle wouldn’t haved looked as good as our reception hall with all of the fantastic accessories and decorations. I was able to find all the accessories I needed for this special themed wedding and some very lovely wedding favors for our friends and family. I had every unique wedding favor done up in storybook themed favor boxes. I was amazed at all of the themed accessories there were for our fairy tale reception. I decided on little coaches for place card holders and the gorgeous place card holders that looked just like Cinderella coach. They just have everything I could possibly need for the perfect fairy tale wedding and reception.
Our guests all had a wonderful time and were very impressed with all the lovely storybook décor. One of our guests stated that she’d never seen such a gorgeous ceremony as ours. I know I was impressed and it was my wedding. A fairy tale wedding was a great idea, and it really helped to be able to have such fantastic accessories to choose from. I wanted this to be special for our friends and family too, the way it was for us. Everything at our reception was in a fairytale theme, even our cake, so I wanted themed wedding gift boxes too. I wanted to give our guests more than just favors, that’s why I chose gifts that could also be used as souvenirs. A special something to remind them of sharing this very special ceremony with us.
